If you hold an active therapy license in New York, your listing is probably already live — built from the NPI registry and checked against the state licensing board. Claiming it takes three steps:
- Tell us who you areThe short form on this page is all of it. Your NPI, license number, or profile link is enough for us to find your listing.
- We text a code to the phone on your state recordEntering the code proves the license is yours. No documents to upload, no fees.
- Your profile is yours — freeAdd your bio, specialties, insurance, and telehealth details. A "claimed" mark tells readers the information comes from you, not just a registry.

Thanks — we'll match this to your listing and reach out within two business days to finish verification. Nothing else happens until then, and there's nothing to pay.
Founding members
TherapistAtlas is new — still earning its search rankings — and we'd rather grow it with therapists who were here first than pretend otherwise. So roughly the first fifty therapists to claim become founding members, free: featured placement in your city and specialty pages as the directory grows, plus a permanent founding badge on your profile. It never converts into a bill.
Free means free
Your listing, claiming it, and keeping it current cost nothing. Optional paid visibility upgrades will exist later, clearly labeled as such — inclusion and verification are never for sale, and unclaimed listings never rank below claimed ones for pay-to-play reasons.
